some macros automatically create a new index.
Install Index Button:
This button will install a return to index button on
the selected worksheet. However, some macros automatically
include the return to index button.

Instructions
Fund Analyzer
Calculates the number of years an investment fund will last withdrawing
a set monthly amount.

Required Distribution
Calculates minimum required disbursement of IRA funds for those over
the age of seventy and one half years.

Fund Creator
Calculates the number of years a monthly investment will require to meet
a set goal.

What If?
Calculates the amount of a retirement fund at the end of proposed
investment period at a set monthly investment amount.

How Much for How Long?


Calculates the amount that can be withdrawn each year before funds are
completely depleted.

Calculates Net Worth. Will create a printable Net Worth sheet by checking

Instructions
Enter Deposit: Click Update Account button. Enter deposit amount and rate, if this is
initial deposit or rate has changed, enter base and update date in dialog box.
Click OK. In most cases, for both deposits and withdrawals, base date and
update date should be the same.
Enter Withdrawal: Click Update Account button. Enter withdrawal amount and rate, if rate
has changed, in dialog box. Click OK.
Update Value: Click Update Account button. Make no entries except for update date if
update date is not today. Otherwise, make no entries. Click OK. Always
update before entering deposits or withdrawals.
Change Rate: Click Update Account button. Enter new rate in dialog box. Enter 6.5%
as 6.5, not 0.065. Click OK.
New Record: Click New Record button to create a new account record sheet.

Account Names: Type in account names at cell B6 and B11.

After pressing the "Trip Expense Record" button, the "Expense Dialog Box" will app

The Trip Expense Sheet contains the following 13 buttons;


SET TITLE

Item: Enter name of hotel, airline, car rental agency, etc.

Foreign: Enter foreign amount, for identification purposes.
Miles: Entire miles if applicable.
Select from list of types of transactions.
Select credit card used or cash or check.
Select whether transaction has been paid or not.
Select line for transaction (usually Last).
Check the Repeat box, and leave checked until the last entry.

CALCULATE
This button calculates all the entries, and places the totals in the
summary list.

CONTRACT
This button deletes the unused lines of the sheet.

EXPAND
This button returns the unused lines if additional expenses are added.

FIX
This button permanently fixes the expense sheet. It also deletes the
criteria line and the Set Title, Entry, Calculate, Contract, Expand, and
Fix buttons. This button should only be used when Expense Sheet is completed.
Once the expense sheet is completed, the "Fix" button should be used before a
new expense sheet is inserted into the workbook.

OPEN and CLOSE COLUMNS


These either hide or show the last 5 columns of the expense sheet.
A printed record of the Expense Sheet is usually made with the columns closed.

GO TO SUMMARY
Puts all the summary figures in the active window.

CODES
This button displays a dialog box with all the codes for the various entries.
This can be useful when making or changing entries without using the Entry button.

SET FACTORS
This button allows the user to set up to 10 foreign currency factors for use with the
CURRENCY CONVERTER and CONVERTER buttons. Ten countries and factors have
been entered, however, the factors may not be current. They can be easily updated o
changed by simply typing over the existing entries. Factors can be found in the Busin
Section of most newpapers. Always use the foreign to dollars factor. Countries can be
changed as well. If changes are made, it is best to click the Save

CURRENCY CONVERTER
This button activates a macro that does the math work for converting foreign currenc
to U. S. dollars. Enter the foreign amount in the dialog box, select the country, and th
click OK. Dialog box will reappear with the conversion.

CONVERTER
This button is the same as the CURRENCY CONVERTER button, except it enters the re
directly into the line selected in the Trip Expense Sheet. It will take the figure entered
in the Foreign column, convert it to US currency, and place the result in the Amount c
at the line selected.

To Install Expense Sheet on Existing Worksheet


This option is usually used when you have several short reports that can be placed on
one page. However, if you check the "Install Control Buttons" box, and enter 1 in the
"Starting Row" box, and 40 in the Number of Lines box, and check the Date box,
you will have exactly the same sheet as the Trip Expense Sheet. Those selections are
also the default selections.
When the dialog box Trip Expense Form appears:
Click "Install Control Buttons" box.
This box should only be checked (marked X) on the first exp
sheet installed on a worksheet. Additional expense sheets

When installing multiple expense sheets on a single worksh
each expense sheet should be fixed before the next expens
