About This School
The school’s goal is to prepare ethnically and economically diverse students for college, leadership, and life throughinnovative instruction, a rigorous curriculum, and the use of technology. We aim to achieve our mission by creating astudent-centered environment that unifies the efforts of family, community, and school to foster life-long learning, cross-cultural competency, social responsibility, and academic excellence. Our school follows Green Dot’s “Six Tenets”:1. Small, safe personalized schools2. High expectations for all students3. Local control with extensive professional development and accountability4.  Green Dot Public Schools makes great effort to ensure that all of its school facilities are clean, safe, and functionalwithin the available resources. Green Dot’s school operations and real estate development departments work with eachschool site to: 1) regularly monitor and inspect that all facilities meet appropriate standards for cleanliness, safety andfunction; 2) supervise the maintenance, repair, or upgrade of facilities; and 3) plan and manage any and all correctiveactions.
