DearMr. Tyson:Asyouare aware,statebudgetsareinfinancialcrisis.TheEducationTrustl-undbudgets inprorationof 7.5o/o.heGovernorsexpectedoproratetheGeneralFundapproximately12%aterthisyear.ThebudgetsorFY2011 areexpectedobein trouble,aswell,despiteheoptimisticoneof the Governor'sStateof theStateaddress.Therefore,asbudgetChairshat overseehe GeneralFundbudget,we areconcernedhatall appropriated ollarsbeprioritizedandcxpendedn themostcosteffectivernanner.Wewouldliketorequestan accountingof allexpendituresarrdthe sourceoffundingby theGovemor's TaskForceonGamblingsincc beingcreatedbyExecutiveOrder.Speeifically,wewould liketo knowthe amountspenton eachraidatgamingfacilities.Weareinterestednthe dollarsexpendedat thwartedraidsaswel[.Pleasencludeexpendituresy eachagencytotalcosts)nvolvedineachraidandinpreparationor theraid.Itleasencludeany overtimecostsforpersonnel;ostsnvolvednequiprnentsedoranticipatedobe usedn eachaid;legalcostsassociatedwitheachraid;overheadexpensesfthe TaskForce;andanyotherexpensesncurredbytheTaskForce.Pleasencludethenumberofpeoplenvolvedinanycapacitybyagencyoreachaid.
