No shorts, tennis shoes, flip flops, or sunglasses are to be worn, Ifyo www. balfour.com Tassel is to hang on the right side of the cap. Do NOT attach any extra items to your cap ¥ Do NOT bring cameras, purses, backpacks, etc. ¥ Leave all personal belongings at home or with your parents/guardian/family. MALE ~ Dress Code Y Slacks, shirt with collar, tie, dark shoes. ¥ You MUST be clean shaven, You will be required to, shave if you want to participate in the program. FEMALE - Dress Code Skirt, slacks and blouse or dress. Dark shoes ook best = avoid excessively high he's. ¥ No purse, etc. WHERE GRADUATES GO UPON ARRIVAL /Y Students will enter through the Bell Street entrance. CHS administrators will be located inside entrance to check to make sure that you are in dress code and do. not have any personal belongings with you. ¥ You will then be directed to proceed to your assigned seat. Make sure that you have your row/seat assignment card either in your possession or recorded ‘on your electronic device so that you can be seated Quickly. A faculty member will be available throughout the area to assist you. © Sections 101 and 102 are on the right side, © Sections 125 and 126 are on the left side. © See the attached map PROCESSIONAL Last minute instructions will be given immediately before the procession, The procession begins promptly at 1:00 PM. ‘TIME FOR GRADUATES ¥ Arrive at the Toyota Center at 12:00 Noon. Allow yourself plenty of time for travel (see attached map). Y Parking in the parking garage will be $10. Surface lots range from $10 to $20. ¥ Students will enter through the Bell Street entrance. Bell Street is 2 main entrance located on the south side of the arena immediately across from the garage. Students will proceed to seating area and remain until procession. Y The Bel Street entrance is for graduates only, not guests. Parents will NOT be allowed to enter on Bell Street. PARENTS: ¥ All quests will use the LaBranch Street and Jackson Street entrances (see attached concourse map). Y Guest will be allowed into the Toyota Center no earlier than 30 minutes prior to the ceremony. Please do not plan to arrive earlier to avoid standing in the heat or rain. Noisemakers and flowers WILL NOT be allowed to be brought inside the Toyota Center. Flower vendors will be available inside if you would like to purchase flowers. Handicapped parking is available on the west side of the Toyota Center. Y After graduation, meet your student on Bell St. This event will be broadcasted via Livestream. The link {s posted above and on the District Website. ¥ Videotaping from tripods is only allowed from handicapped seating areas. PRESENTATION OF DIPLOMAS _ ‘SECURITY Students remain seated until your row is directed to stand. When directed, everyone must stand, turn to your right and foliow the row leader to the stage. After you cross the stage, move your tassel to the left. ¥ Upon exiting the stage, a photographer wil be located ‘on the floor of the Toyota Center to take your picture. Retum to your seat, RECESSIONAL ¥ Atthe end of the ceremony, you will exit to the right to the Bell Street exit. You will meet your guests outside of the arena on Bell Street. You will not be allowed to return to your seat. Y The Toyota Center will confiscate laser pointers, air hors, etc., these items will not be returned. ¥ Helium balloons will not be allowed inside. Flowers WILL NOT be allowed to be brought inside the Toyota Center. Flowers will be sold on the concourse. ¥ All handbags are subject to search as people enter the building, no backpacks will be allowed. Y Coffee, soft drinks, etc, will not be allowed DIPLOMAS.
