In 2007, a tiger team was established with the goal ofanalyzing the provisioning process in an effort toprovide better service to our mission partners. Theyarrived at the following recommendations:
Establish an Information Technology ServiceManagement(ITSM) office (ITSMO) to oversee theprocess restructuring at DISA.
Establish an Enterprise ITSM GovernanceBoard (EIGB) to provide policy andstrategy for restructuring processes.
Establish a common framework forproviding service, based on industrybest practices.
