Petition to the Supreme Court of the United States of America
As you are aware from our previous updates, the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled
against Stanford investors in the claim against the Securities and Exchange Commission
(SEC). The effect of the ruling is that without further appeal, all claims against the SEC have
now been dismissed as the SEC not because the claims against it lack merit, but because the
11th Circuit ruled that it was simply immune from this lawsuit.
KLS vigorously disagrees with the Courts reasoning and we have identified sufficient
grounds to petition the Supreme Court of the United States to overturn the 11th Circuits
decision.
In order to prepare the petition to the Supreme Court, KLS must undertake substantial
amount of work, which is not covered by SEC clients original engagement letters. As such, in
order to proceed with this next step, each SEC client wanting to progress the appeal must provide
a retainer in the amount of $750.
There are strict deadlines for filing a petition with the Supreme Court and as such, if we
have not received the retainer amount stated above by Wednesday June 10, 2015 we will not be
able to proceed and the 11th Circuits dismissal will stand.

Peticion a la Corte Suprema de los Estados Unidos de America
Como conoce por nuestro aviso anterior, el Tribunal de Circuito de Apelaciones fallo en
contra de los inversionistas de Stanford en la reclamacin contra la SEC. El efecto de la
sentencia es que sin ulterior recurso, todos los reclamos contra la SEC han sido despedidos - no
porque las demanda contra la SEC no tenga mrito, pero por que el 11 Circuito gobern que
simplemente es inmune a esta demanda.
KLS no esta de acuerdo con la decisin de la Corte y hemos identificado motivo
suficiente para presentar nuestra peticin ante el Tribunal Supremo de los Estados Unidos para
revocar la decisin del 11 Circuito.
Para preparar la peticin a la Corte Suprema, KLS debe asumir una cantidad sustancial de
trabajo, que no est cubierta por la carta de compromiso con la firma respecto a la SEC. Para
proceder con este siguiente paso, cada cliente de SEC para progresar la apelacin debe
proporcionar un anticipo de $750.
Hay plazos estrictos para presentar una peticin ante el Tribunal Supremo y, como tal, si
no hemos recibido la cantidad de retencin indicado antes del mircoles 10 de junio 2015 no
vamos a ser capaces de proceder y la decision del 11 Circuito permanecer.
