Abraham Lincoln was born on
the 12th February in 1809 . his first name
(Abraham) is in a memory of his grandfather
because he was killed by Indians in 1786.
His parents was farmer illiterate and without
fortune .
Aged 9 years old he saw his mother die,
aged 34 years old ,then his father married a
second wife Sarah Bush Johnston.

In 1830, when Abraham reached his 21

years,the year following, he decides to
conduct an independent existence.
He became a deckhand and made a trip to
Mississippi to New Orleans.
Then he lives in the village of New Salem,
on the Sangamon River.
He became warehouse employee, postman,
supervisor.
In 1832 he enroll in the local militia to fight
Black Hawk Indians.

Then he was a lawyer of 1837 to 1847.

 On the 4th March in 1861 he
was elected to his first term that
for four years, then the 8th
November in 1864 for a second
term.

He proclaimed the
emancipation of the
slaves on 2 July 1862

Lincoln tries one last time to finish the

war of secession by negotiation, but it
was a failure

Then 9 April 1865, the "official" end of

the war of secession was proclaimed
 Finally on April 14 John
Wilkes Booth him fire a
bullet in the neck and the
next morning he was died
