Right (Lyn)

It is right because when Natalie auctioned her virginity she is will be happy in doing it with
somebody that will give her money. As a means to the end of her wants/ desire of studying in a
university. The money that she will receive will make it happen for her and for the person who
bids the highest.

Wrong (Paulo)

It is wrong for Natalie to auction her virginity because it is something that she will not benefit from.
I believe that virginity or having sex is still shared between two people that have high respect for
each other not just lust for each other.

Kant’s Categorical Imperative

Right (Paulo)

It is right because categorically speaking, Natalie believes that in the ancient tradition of “dowry”
were the father of a virgin daughter somewhat like auction their daughter’s virginity to those who
are willing to shell out money or gold and the highest bidder wins.

Wrong(Lyn)

As I see it, it is not right to auction your virginity on the internet because nowadays, it is
something still considered sacred even if there are a lot of people who doesn’t believe it to be
important anymore. Meaning people still believe that if you give up your virginity specially if you
are a female, you should give it to the one you love.
Nietzche (Slave-and-Master Morality)

It is correct that when Natalie said that auctioning her virginity gives her the power to manipulate
men to gain what she wants over them, according to Nietzche, a healthy society is a society that
practice slave and master morality where one is the master of those slave who submit their
selves to the master.

Wrong (Paulo)

It is wrong for Natalie to auction her virginity because masters are the strong person and if she
will submit herself to the “slave” which is the man who is the highest bidder then it is not healthy
anymore for the master never submit herself or himself to a slave.

Aristotelian’s Golden Mean

Right (Paulo)

Because as a belief, when to an extreme using their virginity as a factor to rule over men in some
way is just a virtue that Dylan will be practicing, not too much and never too little as well.

Wrong (Lyn)

According to Aristotelian Golden Mean theory, for me, I believe that auctioning your virginity is a
form of recklessness, because for me it is just an easy way out to get what you want. For not
doing other things to achieve what you want.
