METHOD OF STATEMENT
Specification Sheet
A ) CANOPY WORKS
1 ) Dimension of the Canopy will be : 5 mt x
10 mt.
2) Sandwich Roof
3 ) Colomns will be made by using Min. 2 mm
thickness steel profile or steel plate and
dimensions will be 200mm x 200mm x 3 meters
(clear height ) . number of columns will be 6
columns. Columns will be fixed to the foundation
by using steel plate and bolts not welding.
4 ) Column Foundation dimentions :
(50cmx50cmx50cm)
5) Trusses will be prepared using min 50mm
to 60mm steel angles or according to calculations
by Construction Company.
6 ) Roof will be 3 cm or 4 cm or 5 cm
thickness sandwich panel.
7 ) All around the canopy will be covered ;
40cm to 50 cm height and 1mm to 1.5 mm
thickness steel plate
 8 ) Drainage Channel for roof ; 10 mt length
20 cm x 20 cm dimension and 1 mm to 1.5
mm tickness steel plate will be used (PVC half
pipe may be used ). Plastic pipe will be
installed for 2 columns as 100 mm diameter
for drainage on one side .
9 ) Lights ; two Spot lights will be fixed , one
at each corner of the canopy.
10 ) All the Canopy will be painted by anti
rust primer and then by company colors.
B ) FOUNDATION CONSTRUCTION WORKS
1 ) It will be a concrete area Under the
Canopy . Dimension of the concrete area ; 5 mt x
10 mt x 0.20 mt height. Min. 5 mm diameter steel
mesh will be used. The slope will be adjusted
towards to drainage system channel place
2 ) Surface of the concrete should be smooth
and the concrete sides shoud be of sharp edges
90 degrees angles.
3 ) Drainage Channel : Constructed both
sides entrance and exit at the point where the
car wash rails end , it should be 2.5 to 3 meters
mt length and 25 to 30 cm width and 20 to 30 cm
depth , the drainage channel should be covered
with strong steel mesh to allow water drainage.
The drainage cover should be made of steel
angles bottom and top, not less than 40mm and
steel bars mesh not less than 14 mm diameter .
