Application Checklist
 Application materials include the following:. Application Instruction Booklet. Application Acknowledgement Card. Application Form. Course Application Fee Form. Transcript Request Form
For EACH course you apply, your application tous should include
:
the completed acknowledgement card
(affixed with S’pore stamp of 50 cents for local addresses)
 
your bank draft/cheque for the application feeindicating dollars “forty only” (S$40) or “twentyonly” (S$20) if applying online,with thecompleted Course Application Fee Form

Submission of Application

Application Fee 
Candidates who wish to apply for more than oneM.Sc. programme must submit
SEPARATE
sets of application forms, together with theapplication fee of S$40 (or S$20 for onlineapplication) for 
each
programme. Each set of application form should be accompanied by allthe documents outlined under APPLICATIONCHECKLIST.
 
Full-time/Part-time Basis 
Candidates who are interested in applying for both full-time and part-time study of a graduateprogramme need
only
to
apply
for 
either
thefull-time or part-time study, according to their first choice of preference. Candidates who aresuccessful upon gaining admission maysubsequently apply to convert their studentstatus
(i.e. from full-time to part-time or vice versa).
 
Areas of Specialization 
Candidates who are interested in applying for more than an area of specialization within aM.Sc. programme, need only to apply for thatsingle relevant M.Sc. programme. Multipleapplications for different areas of specializationwithin a M.Sc. programme are not required atthis point of application.
 
International Applicants 
International applicants who are not residing inSingapore or not working in Singapore are onlyeligible to apply for the full-time Master of Science programmes. For candidates who arenot applying for any scholarship, do accompanyyour applications with any one of the followingproof of financial support :. documentary evidence of financial support inthe form of a bank statement. The bankstatement should indicate a total of at leastS$15,000, or equivalentor . letter of confirmation from a sponsor anddocumentary evidence of financial supportfrom the sponsor 
(e.g. bank statement of sponsor should indicate a total of at least S$15,000)

Introduction
 
ApplicationForm
This booklet is prepared to assist candidates in their applications for admission to theMaster of Science (by coursework) courses in the Faculty of Engineering. Theinformation provided herein is for applicants applying for admission to the AugustIntake, Session 2010-2011 (commencing in August 2010).Candidates who are interested in admission for the January Intake, Session 2010-2011 should write in for application forms in July 2010. Please note that there is only1 intake in August for the M.Sc.(Geotec), M.Sc.(IP Mgt), M.Sc.(Mgt of Technology),M.Sc.(Mechatronics) & M.Sc.(Systems Design & Mgt) programmes.The graduate courses are designed for university graduates who wish to advancetheir knowledge and careers in the respective fields of engineering, transportationand management.Each set of application material comprises the following:

Applications are open to candidates with a relevant bachelor’s degree with honoursor its equivalent. Candidates with other qualifications and achievements deemed tobe suitably prepared for the programme of study may also be considered.
