If she, herself, was an ordinary person, Stella would never have been capable of even imagining the terrible beast at the center of this global cabal. For never had this beast from the ancient world been seen above ground in the light of day--though its many tentacles had slithered over all corners and curves of the Earth, and their shadows influenced every sphere of human activity.
Stella knew nothing of The Pathways, or of her supposed destiny upon them--until seventh grade came to an abrupt and unexpected end. Though clearly not ordinary, she had not been perceived as extra-ordinary by modern society. Instead, she was labeled an extreme case of ADD. Of course they had their ammunition. She was a daydreamer. She didn't pay attention. She was not athletic. And she never applied herself to anything she was supposed to.
Yet Stella was of the utmost interest to the shadowed beast—and to the last, ancient band of rebels who still opposed it. For it was written in the prophesy that the reincarnation would appear as a child of a unique mind—not one designed for concentration, but for expansion.
Of course, for the expansive mind that knows no boundaries, it is hardly possible to respect any. Already, in subconscious wandering—and inevitably, in conscious exploration—Stella Child will have discovered secrets. Not just random secrets, but also, top secrets; at the highest level, center of circle, core, pinnacle, eye of the pyramid type. Like this little secret:

Millenniums before the Great Pyramid Reconstruction in Egypt, the beast drew around itself, circles of power. The first and innermost of these circles was made up of the counters—those who drew the first system of number symbols--ages before is commonly believed. They developed mathematics, money, and banking. Remembered in biblical times as the money-changers—in Stella's era this circle of power had evolved into a Global Cartel of Bloodline Banking Dynasties.
The beast's instructions to the members of its original, inmost circle: to draw further circles of power around each one of them, and so on--each circle, a link in the spider web chain of command. The inner Secret Circles in turn formed or co-opted wider circles of power; occult groups, mystery schools, royal families, religions, governments....
Over thousands of years--through assassinations, strategically arranged marriages, false flag operations, and covert activity of every kind imaginable...and unimaginable--the secret circles incrementally grew and spread their power. Finally, their matrix of evil was almost complete, having been built with great sacrifices by the very sleepwalking masses who were to be its prisoners. The goal; a cashless, global society with all humanity micro-chipped, monitored, and controlled...by the invisible, Master Architect; "the It Animal-I." The It Animal-I was the hidden intelligence seeking embodiment in an electromagnetic capstone residing at the apex of the pyramid that would encompass the world.

But not all humanity had been sleeping. Clann Taluv, the children of the Earth, had secretly preserved the ten thousand year old prophecy. It foretold all the history of the world from the time of its writing to the end of Beo Gun Meigh—the current moment where Stella's story begins.
Beo Gun Meigh was a five hundred year era of exponentially intensifying technological development and revolution that was now coming to a close. According to the prophecy, this time would be followed by either the Gentle Re-Alignment or; by the Climactic Transformation. It would depend on the choices humanity made. Human beings were at a fork in their path.
