If I was given the assignment of somehow coming up with a plan to reduceProbably by trying to determine the numbers and job descriptions of thosecounty.How many employees per department, per job description are all ready em Just to start this hypothetical process, I decided to study the only data I hentire databasewas downloaded, could I learn anything of value.
My findings:1. the data contained in the 2008 Salary database is extremely limited with only thea. Name, Job Title, Salary and MunicipalityNothing more , nothing lessFindings:1. First of all in order to be politically correct, I have excluded the name of the indivi2. Secondly I decided to eliminate those individuals coded part time and anyone maanyone making less than 10k annually is indeed a part timer or highly underpaidand eliminate part timers to keep the remainder of the work force fully employe3. Third l I noticed, there was no job hierarchy descriptive data within the salary da4. Forth thing I noticed was the vast number of job titles listed in the database - soeffort to determine the number of individuals that are performing the same dutAnd this is just one type of nursing job description available, there are several mI further wanted to know what the total and average salary was for each of thesWhat average salary per job description was the lowest etc. And what was the sWhat were some of the descriptive statistics available -- mean, median, highe20K, between 20K and 30K etc 5 Finally I decided that 456 job titles what far to detailed a subject to study.
