No-Stitch Ruching
Tutorial by Mary Driggs (CMCMaryD)www.cr8iveme.blogspot.com
Do you love the look of ruching (i.e. the look of bunched up fabric) onclothes? I'm going to teach you how to create it on your cards/scrapbookpages without even using a single stitch.
Materials Used:
Double Sided Tape (you could also use the red line tape)ScissorsRibbon (I used Bazzill Basics Ribbon in Brown Dashed)
Instructions:
Step One:
Cut the ribbon to about 3 times the length of the card you areusing. I used a standard 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card, so the ribbon was cut toabout 15 inches.

Step Two:
Place the Double Sided Tape and cover the section of thecard where you'll be placing the ruched ribbon.
Step Three:
Take the ribbon and begin to ruch (or bunch up the ribbon) ontothe double sided tape.
Step Four:
Once, you've got the ribbon ruched the way you like it. You canplace small pieces of the double sided tape in the sections to keepthe ribbon in place.
