Who: The main person in the story is the narrator, which is telling the story and the deeds he did. What: Doing something and then feeling guilty about it is the theme. When: The action takes place from the time of midnight till four in the morning. Where: It takes place in the old man’s house and the murder happens in the bedroom of the house. man does not like the eye of the old man and thinks the eye d against him so he kills him.

So I think that it was mainly fear. The theme of the story was dark and hatred and a mysterious sort of story since the man is speaking as if he was crazy. He wrote the story as if he was the main person in it. So was thus in the form of first person. The example of the story he first person is when the character says “I” many times.

The story was mainly about Alan Poe who was fearful of the vulture eye of the man and wanted to kill him so it would not bother him anymore and he later did so. The police come to his house because a neighbor reported hearing a scream and called the police. The man was very happy that the police came and was not worried that the body of the man would not be found, since he thought that he hid it

. The man then started hearing a noise as if a watch in his d and eventually confessed to the murder to the police.

Our point of view is that what you do in secret will eventually found out. Examples of this in the story would be of the man who killed the old man and thought that he would never be found out. In the end he eventually told the police that he did it.
