New Logical System Entry

1) Simultaneously open a new session of SAP. Put tcode =BD54.

2) This will Open Logical system view screen. Here you can find logical system for Client 000. Click
on new entries.

3) You will be able to see below screen put Log. System and name. Press Save.

4) System will prompt for Workbench request. Click on new request.

5) Create Request Box will appear. Put short description and Save.

6) A new request no will be generated. Press Enter or Press Tick.

7) This will generate a new logical system for new client.

New Client Entry

1) Login to SAP system in 000 clients and as SAPADMIN.
2) Put tcode = SCC4. Press Enter.

3) You will see the screen below and click on Change button.

4) A caution box will appear. Press enter or press Tick.

5) Change View Clients screen will appear. Now you can see New Entries button. Click on it.

Ideal settings for Customizing Client

6) After Clicking new Entries, you will see below screen. Fill up the details as follows. Below screen
shows ideal settings for a customizing client.

7) Press Save after entering the fields.

10) After clicking save button, you will get a warning message. Press Tick.

11) This will create client.

12) Log off the system.

Local Client Copy

1) Now login to SAP system to new client using sap* user.

2) Copyright box will come. Press Tick.

3) Put Tcode SCCL.

4) The tcode sccl will open client copy screen.

5) Select profile for copy from popup list shown below.

6) Select SAP_ALL to copy all customizing and user data from source.
7) Put Source client and source client for user master. Press start immedialtely.

8) If there is no RFC connection, system will show below message box. Click on wizard.

RFC Connection for Transport Methods

9) This will start RFC connection wizard for transport connection as shown below.

10) Click on Continue.

11) Click on Continue.

12) Click on Complete.

13) Go to Client copy screen. Press start immediately again. This will ask for user and password
credential to connect to source client. It will ask for each instance running on same DB. Put the
user and password. Press Enter.

14) The display logs screen will appear. Press Tick.

15) System will ask for verification of data entered. Press continue.

16) System will ask for login to Application server 1. Put user and password and press enter.

17) System will ask for login to Application server 2. Put user and password and press enter.

18) Now process will continue. At the end of the process it will show log for process.

Client Copy Logs

19) To see the log in between the process, log in to the same SAP system using any client and
SAPADMIN user.
20) Put tcode SCC3.

21) Below screen will appear. You will be able to see status of process client wise. Double click on
the desired client process.

22) This will show date and time of process initiation.

23) Double Clicking on the line shown in above screen will show summary of process.

24) After successful completion of the process system will show the Log on scress as below.
