Un percorso tra le tecnologie digitali pi recenti nate

per il teatro, la danza, il VJing e lo spettacolo dal
vivo in genere. Impareremo ad utilizzare potenti
software per la gestione degli eventi live.
Sperimenteremo interfacce hardware e sensori nati
per interagire con le azioni che avvengono in scena,
in un'ottica sempre pi interattiva tra azione e
macchina scenica. Scopriremo le possibilit di
interazione tra attore, interfacce e software, per
estendere le possibilit complessive.

Un attore in scena. Una camera lo riprende.

Riproietta la sua azione alle sue spalle. Possiamo
intervenire su di essa, cambiandone i tempi di
riproduzione, la velocit, la direzione, le modalit di
visualizzazione. Possiamo relazionarci ad essa,
creando un gioco col "me stesso" di un attimo prima
- o di molto tempo prima. Possiamo intervenire in
tempo reale su quello che succede in scena,
giocando tra un attore ed un automa, interpretato
dall'attore stesso. Possiamo poi fare un montaggio
simil-cinematografico all'istante, mixando la ripresa
del momento a loop video preregistrati.
E' teatro di figura? E' una performance video? E'
mimo? E live cinema? Tutto questo e anche altro.

Reproject its action behind him. We can modify it,
change reproduction rate, speed, direction, display
mode. We can relate to it, creating a game with the
myself i was a moment ago - or long before. We can
intervene in real time on what's happening on stage,
playing between an actor and an avatar, played by
the actor himself. We can then film-edit
instantaneously what camera is filming, mixing
actual record to prerecorded video loops.

Just for QLab workshop: bring your laptop!
La maggior parte delle tecnologie presentate si basano su software MacOsX (QLab, in particolare,
esiste solo per mac). Anche se non indispensabile, per un miglior apprendimento consigliata
la frequenza portando con se un laptop. Ipad, iphone, apparecchi android o windows possono
comunque risultare utili per determinati argomenti, percui, portateli!
Portate inoltre i files di audio, eventuali video, e il piano luci di uno spettacolo in cui siete
coinvolti: ci eserciteremo ad implementarlo in QLab.
QLab and most of the software well use runs on Macosx: youd better bring your own laptop. Bring
also musics, videos and light plan of a show youre involved, well use them as final exercize.
Just for Playing with myself lab: sono necessari abiti comodi e scarpe da ginnastica. Se avete
musiche che vi piacciono o su cui lavorate gi, portatele: serviranno.
please come dresses with tennis shoes and gym suit. If you have favorites musics, or music you
already use in a show, please bring them.
