the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, which is part of the U.S. Department of the It's Fishopedia includes
resources such as a species explorer, learning about habitats, information about how to fish. There are articles
and resources on fishing methods and techniques; when and where to find fish; bait and equipment such as
natural bait, lures, rigs and tackles, rods and reels; knots; setting the hook, playing with fish; landing the fish and
preparing your catch; fishing safety, a fishing glossary, and information about fishing and conservation.

BSA challenges scouts to help honor the 100th anniversary of the BSA by signing up for the Preserve America’s
Waterways Initiative. It is one of the most ambitious projects of its kind ever undertaken. With the help and
support of national partners, the Sea Scouts — BSA in cooperation with Venturing, Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts and
other community based youth organizations have taken a challenge to give back 1 million community service
hours preserving & protecting our nation's waterways - lakes, streams, rivers, and shorelines. Preserve America's
Waterways is a "Reach2o Initiative" conducted in cooperation of the National Youth Marine Alliance and many
national youth, aquatics, and government organizations.
