Bivariate Hypothesis

Age affects ones attitude toward rap music. Respondents between the ages 18 through

29 years of age are more likely to like rap music. A larger percentage of people who like

rap music will be between the ages 18 and 29 years old.

Bivariate Discussion

52.4 percent of people between the ages 18 through 29 years old like rap music. 38.7

percent of people 30 through 39 years old like rap music. 21.5 percent of respondents

40 years old and plus like rap music. The age group 18 to 29 had a higher percentage of

liking rap music.

Multivariate Hypothesis

The race of the respondent has an influence on the effects of age on attitudes toward

rap music. More black respondents who are between the ages 18 and 29 years old are

more likely to like rap music. There is a larger percentage of black respondents that are

between the ages 18 and 29 years old like rap music than white respondents between

the ages 18 and 29 years old.

Multivariate Discussion

82.1 percent of Black respondents between the ages 18 and 29 like rap music. 44.7

percent of White respondents between the ages 18 and 29 years old like rap music.

Black respondents between the ages 18 and 29 years old have the higher percentage of

liking rap music.
