In our study of World War I we will be focusing on several influential battlesthat changed the course of the war. Working in small groups, you will researchyour assigned battle and prepare for a class presentation. During your researchpay close attention to the following:

The countries that were involved
•
Location
•
Significant people, weapons, terms and phrases that are associated withyour battle
•
Strategies that were employed/Casualties suffered
•
The overall impact of the battle on the course of WWIEach group will be creating a presentation that will last AT LEAST 10 minuteslong. You will have access to the LCD projector and all other resources availablein the classroom. Your presentation will need to incorporate:
•
AT LEAST ONE visual aide (Poster/PowerPoint/Maps/Battle Plans etc.)
•
AT LEAST ONE handout/worksheet/outline that you will provide for yourclassmates
•
The involvement of EACH MEMBER of the group during the presentation(every member MUST HAVE a speaker part during the 10 minutes)Influential Battles:
