What general codes and conventions will
be operating in your text?

incorporated within the text?
Identify and recourse constraints – (time,
money, equipment, human resources) that
may effect your production and hopes for
your product.
The codes and conventions that we will be
following are through the use of costumes,
for the male antagonist we will be using
very dark and covered up clothing which
gives the character a sense of mystery. The
lighting within our film will be quit dark
which usually is kept within a thriller.
There isn’t a dominant hidden message
within our text but there are what some
people may call ‘Cliché’ hidden messages
which include ‘don’t ever trust any body
who you do not know’ and ‘looks can be
deceiving’, we will leave the real hidden
message for the audience to decide.
Weather conditions may effect the timing
of the end product, this is because if it
rains on a day we are meant to film an
outside scene we will be delayed as it is not
possible to film outside when it is raining.
Practical elements may be a constraint in
our filming plan, if a cast member becomes
sick when we are due to film we will have
to reschedule our filming dates.
