Vipre Premium: affordable and excellent antimalware & firewall!

I’m happy to say that VIPRE’s speed and low

-resource usage is still there, and even hasimproved. There is a lot more functionality in this new Version 4.To start with, the Personal Firewall has been rewritten and expanded with Host IntrusionPrevention & Detection systems: IDS and HIPS. VIPRE now blocks more intruders and theirmalicious code. Further, with protection at boot time, malicious site filtering, ad blocking andanti-phishing on both email and the web.

Sunbelt’s advanced firewall does not bother

you with all kinds of messages, popups, and things

you need to do. I have seen other firewalls that aren’t that friendly. VIPRE Premium’s ‘SimpleMode’

works

great for average users. The ‘Learning Mode’ is for people that are advanced PC

users and want to tune their firewall the way they like it.

I’ll mention a few of the many improvements of the whole Version 4 CounterSpy / VIPRE family:
