Student Drop-off AndPick-up
Please be aware that parents should useHusky Drive as a drop off area forstudents.
Please do not use ourfaculty parking lots to drop off students.
This practice may pose adanger to your children and createstraffic issues in our faculty parking lotsand on New Milford Avenue. Parents arereminded that visitor parking is onlyavailable on Husky Drive in the parking lot directly in front of the new MediaCenter and main entrance. If that lot isfull, you are asked to find additionalparking on the street as all spaces in thefaculty lots are reserved.

Winter Sports
Boys Basketball
The Varsity Boys Basketball Team, underfourth year Head Coach Adam Sidrow, isin the final stages of a roller-coasterseason. The team missed qualifying forthe Bergen County Jamboree by onegame, but they did qualify for the StateTournament.
Girls Basketball
The Varsity Girls Basketball Team,under Head Coach David Cieplicki, ishaving a great season. The teamqualified for the County and StateTournament again this year. One of thesenior basketball players was recognizedas the Record’s “Athlete of the Week” forher stellar performance play againstDwight-Morrow.
Boys and Girls Indoor Track
The boys and girls, under Head CoachMartin Caspare, have competed in anumber of indoor meets and have wonmore medals this season (68) than anyDHS team in the past. At the BergenCounty Relay Championships on January 27, the 55 meter shuttle hurdlerelay team broke a 48 year old schoolrecord and placed second in the smallschool division.
Wrestling
The Wrestling Team, under Head Coach John Monaco, has made significantprogress this season. The number of wrestlers involved and the skill levels haveincreased this season. Four wrestlersmedaled in the District 7 Tournamentand advanced to the next round of theState Tournament.
Varsity Ice Hockey
The Varsity Ice Hockey Team, underHead Coach Pete Becker, made progressand adjusted to the new, ultra-competitive league schedule. 
Bowling
The Girls Bowling Team, under HeadCoach Marc Ferrara, finished second inthe league championship. Led by agroup of underclassmen, the future looksextremely strong for the Lady Huskies.The Boys Bowling Team earned a fourthplace title in the State Tournament.
Competition Cheerleading
The Competition Cheerleading Team,under the direction of Head Coach Alyssa Ruggero, has competed innumerous competitions and have broughthome some trophies. The Cheerleadersparticipated in a field trip during WinterBreak to attend a “special guest” viewing,meet the cast and crew, and steal somecamera time on “Good Morning  America.”

The Winter Sports Awards assembly willbe held on Thursday, March 11, 2010.The Spring Sports season officially startson Friday, March 5, 2010. DHS Youth Theatre
The DHS Youth Theatre presented itsLondon Theatre presentation,
“Almost, Maine”

Dance Team
The DHS Dance Team had their secondannual Dance Showcase on February 24.
Student Council
The DHS Student Council has beencoordinating and planning severalfundraisers, including a fundraiser forHaiti. Student Council also organized ablood drive that was held at DHS onFebruary 25.
Senior Class
The Senior Class, under Class AdvisorMrs. Jamie Kipp, is in the final stages forthe Senior Prom, which will be held atthe Park Ridge Marriott on May 14.
 Junior Class
The Junior Class, under Class AdvisorMr. Jason Cannici, is holding afundraising event on March 5 (National Wrestling Superstars are coming toDHS). The Junior Class is also busyplanning the Junior Dance, which isscheduled for March 19.
