Before there was Bruce Lee there was Bruce Tegner. His book is a very good system of self defense that can be learned easily.He is mostly forgotten today but was well known in the 60's. It has a day to day training method that can be used to gain a basic and effective system of protecting yourself in a month. Don't forget you have to keep practicing to hardwire these or any techniques into your bodies automatic responses. Practicing will also keep you fit and limber and quick enough if you ever need these skill. This is the complete copy with the two missing pages added. Bruce Tegner wrote many books on self defense but I think this is one of his best. His style was direct and simple and he did away with the mysticism. All you get is the real stuff. His nerve centers and pressure points book is often found on the internet without the cover. It is his book and if you look close you will find his name once or twice. There are several copies of it on Scribd as well. check it out.
