What is the difference between VECTOR and BITMAP images?
VECTOR and BITMAP are the two most important (major) 2D graphictypes. The difference between VECTOR and BITMAP images is that BITMAPimages are made up of pixels that are grouped together to form images, but when you zoom in on the image, the pixels become more obvious andmake the picture seem blurry. VECTOR images are made up of a colour, afill and an outline. If you zoom in on the image, the lines are definite.VECTOR images are of a higher quality because the more you zoom in, themore original the image stays.

Why are they different sizes?
The two images are different because PNG images can be zoomed infurther so they need to have a larger capacity to be able to do that. JPGimages need to be of a smaller size are when they are sent, they need tobe of a smaller capacity in order to send faster. My class notesGeneral Knowledge
Why did we send the JPG file tom POSTEROUS?
We sent the JPG to Posterous because it was of a smaller capacity, thatway it would send a lot faster than what the PNG file would have.General KnowledgeWhat Mr. Fenwick has told us as a class.
