To substantially reduce the burden of CVD in the EUand the WHO European Region.Vascular ageing is linked with common preventable risk factorsrelated to lifestyle.The highest priority in reduction of CVD is addressingthe common lifestyle risk factors for noncommunicable disease.We have done many research studies aiming to reducethe modifiable biological risk factors for CVD:blood pressure, blood cholesterol and blood sugar,overweight and obesity through lifestyle interventions.
