This program option awards funds for visual improvementsto commercial real property. These improvements are forpaint and landscaping etc… Labor and materials may becontributed by the CRA in lieu of grant funds or a portion ofthe grant award. Maximum CRA grant awards cannotexceed $4,000.

1.
APPLICATION DRAFT - preliminary applicationcompleted by business, assisted by BRIC, andsubmitted to the CRA to discuss the businessimprovement and limits and conditions of availableincentive programs.
2.
FINAL APPLICATION SUBMITTAL TO CRA PROJECTMANAGER- to be placed on the next available CRACommission agenda.3.COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY COMMISSION, REVIEW FOR APPROVAL/DENIAL.
4.
CRA GRANT EXECUTION - CRA staff sends letter toapplicant indicating CRA decision. If approved, CRAstaff executes grant agreement award(s) - within 1week of CRA approval.
NOTE:
A business plan, exterior rendering, or interiordesign plan may be required, as determined by CRA,and would be an allowable reimbursable if incentivegrant is approved.Incentive option must be substantially completewithin 1 year of grant agreement.
