The success of LEAD Academy and that of its staff depends very largelyon the staff themselves, and so we look to you to play your part as weshall continue to play ours. We provide equal opportunities and are committed to the principle ofequality regardless of race, colour, ethnic or national origin, religious belief, political opinion or affiliation, sex, marital status, sexualorientation, gender preference, age or disability. We will apply employment policies that are fair, equitable andconsistent with the skills and abilities of our staff and the needs of the business. We look to your support in implementing these policies to ensure that allstaff are accorded equal opportunity for recruitment, training andpromotion and, in all jobs of like work, on equal terms and conditions ofemployment. We will not condone any discriminatory act or attitude in the conduct ofthe College with the public or our staff. Acts of harassment ordiscrimination on the grounds of race, colour, ethnic or national origin, religious belief, political opinion or affiliation, sex, marital status, sexualorientation, gender preference, age or disability will incur disciplinarysanctions. We ask that you study carefully the contents of this Staff Handbook as,in addition to setting out our rules and regulations, it also contains a greatdeal of helpful information. We welcome you and hope that you will be happy here in our team.Director
