Proceedings of meeting of the IEEE RUET Student Branch 
Today Tuesday, 9th March, 2010 at 5.00PM a meeting was held at CSE seminar room of the IEEE RUET 
Student  Branch.  In  the  meeting  Electrical  and  Electronic  Department  Head  of  RUET  Dr.  Abdul  Goffar 
Khan,  Assistant  Professor  of  Electrical  and  Electronic  Department  of  RUET,  A.B.M  Nasiruzzaman, 
Electrical and Telecommunication Engineering Department’s Head Delwar Hossain, former IEEE Student 
members of RUET and New IEEE Student members of RUET and some guest student of ’08 series was 
present. The meeting was presided over by IEEE RUET Student Branch Vice‐Chair. The following matter 
was discussed, presented and decided in the meeting. 

Subject 1:  Year ending transaction close. 

Decision  1:  IEEE  RUET  Student  Branch  2009  year’s  income  and  expense  was  presented  to  all  in  the 
meeting and approved by all. 

Subject 2: Changing bank account Assignee. 

Decision 2: IEEE RUET Student Branch’s Rupali Bank account “8523” from now on will be operated by Dr. 
Abdul Goffar Khan and Tanvir Hussain.  

Subject 3: Student Development Kit from IEEE, USA. 

Decision 3: Proper instruction was given to all IEEE RUET Student Members regarding the use of Student 
Development Kit. 

Subject 4: IEEE Region 10 Awards and Contest. 

Decision 4: Region 10 Awards and Contest introduction, deadline, submission procedure was presented 
in the meeting. 

Subject  5:  IEEE  RUET  Student  Branch  Advisor  Assist.  Prof.  A.B.M  Nasiruzzaman  and  ’05  Student 
Member farewell 
Decision 5: IEEE RUET Student Branch Advisor Assist. Prof. A.B.M Nasiruzzaman was bade farewell in this 
meeting on account of his higher study at Australia for Ph.D.  IEEE RUET ’05 Student members was also 
been bade farewell in this meeting. Dr. Abdul Goffar Khan, Delwar Hossain gave speech on this regard in 
this meeting. Assistant Professor A.B.M Nasiruzzaman also gave a speech on this regard. 

Subject 6: Upcoming Year Plan. 

Decision 6: Student Members are asked to present their plan and ideas to the next IEEE RUET meeting 
for 2010 year. 

Subject 7: Working Committee. 

Decision  7:  IEEE  RUET  Student  Branch  2009  working  committee  will  continue  their  work  in  year  2010 
until next working committee is formed.
