Immediately after these Quranic words God commands us to follow the Quran alone, which God describes as "fully detailed" as the ONLY source of law:"Shall I seek other than GOD as a source of law, when He has revealed to you thisbook fully detailed?"6:114The books of Hadith report the Prophet's command not to write down anything fromhim except the Quran!Shown below are two such Hadiths taken from the Hadithists" most reliable sources,Sahih Muslim and Is-haah Ahmad Ibn Hanbal:(The Prophet said,"Do not write down anything from me except theQuran."[Ahmed, Vol. 1, Page 171, and Sahih Muslim]This Hadith states that the Prophet maintained his anti-Hadith stand until death.[Ahmed, Vol. 1, Page 192](1) Ibn Saeed Al-Khudry reported that the messenger of God had said,"Do not write anything from me EXCEPT QURAN. Anyone who wrote anythingother than the Quran shall erase it."The following historical incident happened about 30 years after the death of theProphet Muhammed and shows that the Prophet never canceled his order not to writebut the Quran. The hadiths books however contained some fabricated hadiths that areconsidered by the same Hadiths scholars as very weak, trying to indicate thatMuhammed changed his view about writing the hadiths. The readers of the hadith tofollow, that happened about 30 years after the death of the Prophet, will conclude bythemselves that the Prophet Muhammed never authorized the writing of the hadithssince the time he told his followers not to write but the Quran..(2) From Ibn Hanbal;Zayd Ibn Thabit (The Prophet's closest revelation writer) visited the KhalifaMu"aawiyah (more than 30 years after the Prophet's death), and told him a storyabout the Prophet. Mu"aawiyah liked the story and ordered someone to write it down.
