This visual was created as a result of a number of conversations about how to get students to select and work on issues that really mean something to them. The traditional approach I have seen in PYP schools, and in PYP Exhibitions, has been to madly "expose" students to many, random, adult-orientied issues. Students then make choices that do not come from within themselves.
I believe that this is a waste of their previous learning and experience.
