The current BIG National Constitution is being distributed to all members listed in the National BIG database under separate cover during January 2010. The January 2009version of the BIG National Constitution was updated with a January 2010 date, and theamendment which was approved at the Delegates Assembly (Article IV, Section 2B, (2)and (3)). This January 2010 document is the current official version of the BIG NationalConstitution.2.The attached format must be utilized for proposed amendments to the BIG NationalConstitution.3.Proposed amendments utilizing the requisite format are to be sent to the BIG NationalOffice by Postal Service (PS) Mail (address provided in above heading), emailed or faxedto the locations, address, or number listed below.PS mail: Attention: Ms. Peggy DowningEmail Service: peggy1820@aol.comFax:202-667-3705

All proposed amendments must be received by close of business (5:00 P.M.) EasternStandard Time, Friday, April 16, 2010. This submission date is firm in order for the BIGConstitution & Policy Committee (Constitution) to satisfy the BIG National Constitutionrequirement of mailing proposed amendments to the regions and chapters at least 60 days prior to the start of the 2010 Delegates Assembly (policy 1:07).

Please distribute this document and attachment to all chapter members within your respective Regions. In Accordance with Article XV, Paragraph 3 of the BIG NationalConstitution, “Any regular member in good financial standing at the Chapter, Region,and National level may propose amendments to the National Constitution”.
