Throughout Lent, First Christian will beshowcasing the photography of our own
Deb Murphy. Her works, “The Sacredon the Street” were part of an installa-
tion at United Seminary last fall. Stop byafter worship in the West Hall (acrossfrom the Hearthstone Room) to look andstay tuned to how it will become a part
of First‟s Lenten Prayer Practice. You can

Minnesota Foodshare
In 2009, almost 14 percent of Minnesotahouseholds did not have enough moneyto buy food, and those numbers willincrease in 2010.Our goal at FCC this year is to raise$500 and 500 pounds for GrovelandFoodshelf during March.You can drop off your non-perishablefood item in the Big Barrel in the nar-thex, or put contributions in the offering
plates (mark “foodshelf” on check memo
line).

Feed My Starving Chil-dren
Our next trip to Feed My StarvingChildren will be on Saturday, March27 from 11:30am-1:30pm at theCoon Rapids facility. We will besharing this mission event with our sisters and brothers at GethsemaneEpiscopal in downtown Minneapolis.A signup sheet will be available be-ginning March 7.

Those interested in participating in
this year‟s Prayer Vigil (described
above) can sign up on sheets in theFireplace Lounge, call the churchoffice, or call Shirley Draine at 1-877-243-2823 (dial 651-459-9602 whenprompted).A special small section will be setup in the church sanctuary as theprayer space. There will be prayer study helps there to help focus your prayer time if you need them.
