As Governor, I urge youto study this handbook and apply what you learnto help keep you and your loved ones safe. Thishandbook is also available online at dmv.ca.gov.Audio files of this handbook are also available at theDMV website. The audio handbook is designed toassist teenagers, elderly drivers, people who havelearning disabilities, difficulty reading, or for whomEnglish is their second language. You can listen to the handbook on your per-sonal computer or download the audio files to an iPod or other MP3 player.Doing business with the DMV has never been easier. Logging on todmv.ca.gov allows you to conduct online transactions, such as renewing your car registration or driver license, reporting the sale of a vehicle, accessingforms, searching for the nearest DMV office, and/or changing an addressonline – rather than standing in line.I hope that you find the
