Thisacquisition enables IndieGoGo to offer clients a full range of tools for project execution - from fundingto distribution.IndieGoGo was co-founded in 2008 by Danae Ringelmann, Slava Rubin, and Eric Schell. In 2009IndieGoGo became the largest online film funding platform. In 2010 IndieGoGo extended itsfundraising tools to any project raising up to $100,000 - including writing, music, social cause,technology, events, venture, and political ideas. Based on the concept of DIWO (Do It With Others),IndieGoGo offers all the tools needed to promote and fund projects via the masses.
