Log and captured all footage.

6:00pm:
I dragged each scene onto the timeline and created continuity throughout the
sequence.

Problems that occurred

Some voices interfered with the scenes which were not meant to be there e.g. director
saying action at the start of a take.

How I resolved the problem

I dragged out all of the sound from the scenes leaving just the diegetic dialogue in the
sequence.

7:00pm:
I then sharpened up all of the scenes so that there were no jumps from scene to scene.
This created complete continuity throughout the sequence.

Decided on what diegetic and non-diegetic sound to include. Inserted the sound onto
the timeline and moved it to where it would be appropriate within the sequence.

Problems that occurred

I could not fade out the sound from each scene which I had wished to do, creating a
weird sound when going from one sound track to another.

How I resolved the problem

I used a tool in final cut pro which stepped down the sound step by step when I
wanted it to. This created continuity throughout the sequence regarding the sound.

I used appropriate colouring in each scene, making some dark and others light.

Problems that occurred

At first I found it difficult to make the contrast between each scene look as if it flows
with the each other. Some scenes looked maybe too dark than the next one which
didn’t match the overall sequence.

How I resolved the problem

When I got the right colouring for one scene which was in the same location, I
dragged that colouring of the scene to the next scene so each scene flowed with each
other.

I added the titles on the sequence. The titles included the production logo, who the
film is associated with, the starring characters and the directors, cameraman’s and
editors names.

Problems that occurred

I could not fade out the titles in sufficient time to the next scene.

How I resolved the problem

I shortened down each titles timing and when the dissolve happened, the transition
into the next scene was fluent.
