2/18/2010 555 Main St R/O responded to location for serving of court papers. Papers served to
recipient without incident.

HOUSING (LANDLORD / TENANT)

DISABLED VEHICLES
2/18/2010 688 Main St R/O observed vehicle at location blocking the intersection ramp. Attendant
was unable to identify vehicle. Tow company was called, but prior to
arrival motorist moved vehicle to a legal parking space.

2/27/2010 West Seawall While on patrol PSD vehicle became stuck on the grass due to the heavy
snow.

DISPUTES (VERBAL)
2/11/2010 688 Main St Employee and motorist involved in a dispute over a monthly parking bill.
Motorist filled out necessary documents to leave location but will follow up
with the main office.
2/14/2010 686 Main St Irate female refusing to leave store due to allegations of being short
changed by the can redemption machine. Store manager states this is an
ongoing problem with female. Female complied to leave and stated would
not enter store again. No injuries.
2/24/2010 580 Main St Victim reported female friend was inside her apartment and threatened to
cut up her furniture with a knife. NYPD on scene. Responding units
searched location for subject with negative results. Victim was hesitant to
give friends name.

ESCORTS
2/9/2010 560 Main St Victim stated she wanted her son escorted from the apartment. Upon
arrival son was already leaving the location.

EVICTION
2/12/2010 540 Main St PSD requested on scene for eviction by City Marshall. Upon completion
location was secured by Super.
FOUND PROPERTY
2/1/2010 RIOC Bus #6 Found book at location. Property logged and secured.
2/3/2010 645 Main St Found cell phone. Owner contacted and came in next day to retrieve
property.
2/10/2010 550 Main St
Bus driver found bag on the bus. Identification for owner was obtained
inside the bag and owner came in to retrieve it with all contents confirmed.
2/16/2010 579 Main St Wallet found at location. Logged and secured in Sgts. Cabinet.
2/17/2010 680 Main St Found pair of black leather gloves left on Bus. Property logged and
secured at PSD.
2/21/2010 550 Main St Blue pouch containing cash, debit card and several religious metals
turned into PSD. Owner later came in to retrieve his property.

2/21/2010 River Rd Found cell phone. Battery drained and unable to obtain information.
Property logged and secured at PSD.
2/22/2010 Main St Found ID cards brought into PSD. Cards belong to Bus Driver. Cards
were returned to Bus Supervisor who will return the property to the owner
when he returns to work.
2/23/2010 684 Main St Found box containing tee shirts and baseball caps. Owner's name located
on box. R/O responded to owner's residence and left a note to claim the
property. Property retrieved by owner on 2/24/10.
2/24/2010 510 Main St Books found in stairwell at location. Property logged and secured at PSD.

2/27/2010 619 Main St Found money order valued at $428. found at location. Owner located and
came into PSD to retrieve property on 3/1/10.

GAS LEAK
2/13/2010 546 Main St
FDNY on scene for gas smell. Tenant arrived home and opened the door.
Stove was left on. Windows were opened. No property damage or injury.
2/25/2010 4 River Rd FDNY on scene for gas smell. Gas check conducted and meter did not
detect any gas.

HAZARDOUS CONDITION
2/2/2010 548 Main St Reporter stated cement rocks were thrown down the stairs at location
causing a hazardous walking condition. Building management notified to
correct the condition.
2/11/2010 R/O 595 Main St Reporter notified of missing man hole cover. Grounds personnel notified
and placed temporary metal cover over hole until condition can be
corrected.
2/15/2010 R/O 888 Main St Large pot hole at location. Cones placed until condition can be corrected.

2/25/2010 Opp 888 Main St R/O responded to location for possible live wire down. Engineering
personnel notified and corrected the condition.
2/26/2010 536 Main St Reporter notified PSD of hanging tree branches due to heavy amount of
snow. PSD on scene and cautioned off the area. Building management
notified.

HEALTH HAZARDOUS CONDITION


2/28/2010 510 Main St Reporter stated he found feces in stairwell at location. Condition was
corrected and area will be monitored.
IDENTITY THEFT
2/1/2010 555 Main St Victim returned to PSD with regard to previous report filed with additional
paperwork for the file. Victim will have documents notarized for NYPD
report.

ILLEGAL DUMPING (GARAGE)


2/4/2010 R/O 900 Main St
While on patrol R/O observed about 50 old tires dumped at location. NYPD
spoke with hospital police and cameras will be checked in the morning.

INVESTIGATIONS (NON-CRIM.)
2/1/2010 570 Main St
Victim stated a suspicious male entered her salon panhandling. She gave
him a dollar and he left. Search of area yielded negative results.
2/5/2010 560 Main St ADA representative arrived at PSD inquiring about a resident of said
location. No information was discovered with regard to said resident.

2/6/2010 Adj. 2-4 River Rd U-Haul truck stopped at location for inspection due to a past illegal
dumping investigation. Subject was collecting metal objects for extra
money. All paperwork in order and subject released.
2/7/2010 455 Main St Victim advised truck was parked in front of her home making unnecessary
noise. Victim stated she asked the driver to move the vehicle as her son is
sick at home and resting and he refused. R/O arrived on the scene, but
truck was gone from the area. Victim will take the matter up with the
trucking company.
2/7/2010 F/O 405 Main St R/O observed missing stop sign at location. Facilities manager notified to
correct the situation.
2/7/2010 F/O 546 Main St Reporter stated bus did not stop at the tram. Reporter could not identify
which bus number it was. Bus supervisor notified of situation.

2/7/2010 552 Main St Subject entered PSD to get permission to park in the breezeway. Super on
duty advised they were to come in on Monday and receive a move in slip.

2/9/2010 531 Main St Reporter advised a burnt candle was located on the roof of location. It
was advised that occurred last week. Check of roof found all to be in
order.
2/14/2010 595 Main St R/O responded to location for report of narcotics/illegal substance use.
Search of area yielded negative results. Area will be monitored.

2/17/2010 682 Main St Unknown reporter called into PSD to report a jogger looked like he was
being robbed by four unknown males. Upon arrival four males were on the
scene but there was no sign of reporter or alleged victim. Four males were
told to leave the area.
2/18/2010 510 Main St Victim stated unknown youths have been banging on his door for the past
three days at the same time every day. No damage to door. Area will be
monitored.
2/19/2010 510 Main St Reporter stated he contacted 911 with regard to youths throwing bottles in
hallway and damaging fire door. Reporter stated youths were in the youth
center. Det. Unit arrived at youth center and questioned youths along with
reporter who identified youths. Upon arrival at location all was in order.
Youths were advised not to remain in hallways unlawfully.

2/19/2010 688 Main St Youth at location afraid to leave the area. Unknown male stated his
brother was assaulted by a group of youths. Male refused to give
information and left the area.
2/20/2010 F/O 888 Main St R/O responded to location for congestion of vehicles. Con
Ed/MTA/Hospital police on scene for installation of cell phone/radio tower.

2/26/2010 556 Main St Reporter advised her son was almost attacked by a dog while throwing out
the trash at location. Residence of dog is unknown. No injuries.

2/28/2010 560 Main St Victim advised subject was waiting at building to assault him. Victims
Mother stated subject came to door looking for victim. Search of area for
subject yielded negative results.

JUVENILE RELATED (INCIDENTS)


2/5/2010 400 Main St Two youths jumped the turnstile at location. R/O stopped youths and
brought them into PSD for identification. Youths parents were contacted
and were released to their parents.

LOCK-OUT (VEH / PREMISE)

LOST/MISSING PROPERTY
2/18/2010 62nd St 1st Ave Victim lost small wallet containing credit cards and passport. Victim will
contact NYPD to file a report.
2/22/2010 463 Seventh Ave Reporter stated she found a wallet belonging to resident. PSD contacted
resident and gave her the phone number of the reporter to obtain her
property.

POSSIBLE ILLEGAL SUBSTANCE


2/8/2010 595 Main St Reporter stated heavy smell of marijuana coming into her apartment from
the hallway. Search of area yielded negative results.

2/26/2010 595 Main St Reporter stated every morning there is a smell of marijuana entering her
apartment from the hallway and stairwell. Area will be monitored.

PROPERTY DAMAGE (NON-CRIM)


2/10/2010 570 Main St Reporter stated glass door to location was shattered. Door was boarded
up until condition can be corrected.
2/21/2010 R/O 540 Main St Reporter stated glass on floor of location. Building management notified
and cleaned up area.
2/22/2010 550 Main St Damage observed to front bumper of vehicle. Vehicle brought to bus
garage where damage was corrected.
2/25/2010 Opp 2-4 River Rd Victim stated an object fell at the bottom of ramp striking her vehicle
causing the rear window to shatter. DOT advised of condition. No injuries
reported.

RECOVERED PROPERTY

SMOKE ALARMS / CONDITION / FIRE


2/4/2010 405 Main St Tenant complaining of neighbor smoking cigars and smoke is entering his
apartment. Tenant states he has spoken to housing management and
nothing has been done.
2/7/2010 546 Main St PSD and FDNY on scene for smell of smoke condition. Entire location
canvassed and no point of origin was discovered.
2/10/2010 F/O 559 Main St Fire reported underneath street grating at location. FDNY, Con Edison on
scene. All traffic surrounding the area was stopped for safety. No injuries
or property damage.
2/14/2010 200 Main St FDNY units arrived. Minor electrical fire caused by light fixture. No
injuries and FDNY extinguished fire.
2/18/2010 2 River Rd. FDNY at location. Upon investigation smoke condition was due to burning
food left unattended. No injuries or property damage.
2/18/2010 546 Main St FDNY at location. Upon investigation smoke condition was due to burning
food left unattended. No injuries or property damage.
2/22/2010 540 Main St R/O responded to location for tenant who had burnt food in apartment.
Super on scene. No injuries or property damage.
2/22/2010 540 Main St R/O responded to location for report of burning smell. Upon arrival search
of area was conducted and residue of burnt paper was found in the
stairwell. No injuries or property damage. Search of area for subjects
yielded negative results.
2/27/2010 510 Main St R/O responded to location for smoke condition caused by burnt food. No
injuries or property damage.
2/27/2010 Opp 415 Main St R/O responded to call of smoking man hole cover. FDNY on scene.
Smoke caused by melting snow on wire insulation.

2/15/2010 540 Main St Apartment door found ajar at location. Upon check of location apartment
was vacant. No sign of trespassers or damage. Super notified of incident.

VEHICLE ACCIDENT
2/1/2010 Adj. 645 Main St Victim stated while her car was parked she noticed damage to rear driver
bumper upon her return. NYPD on scene for report.
2/1/2010 10 River Rd While on a car stop R/O accidentally bumped rear bumper of stopped
vehicle with RMP. No injuries or damage to either vehicle. Motorist was
already warned and admonished and all paperwork in order.

2/3/2010 20 River Rd. Victim parked her car and upon return her vehicle was hit by an unknown
motorist. Reporter stated she saw vehicle hit victims vehicle and leave the
scene. NYPD on scene to take report.
2/5/2010 680 Main St Complainant stated delivery truck backed up into his vehicle causing
damage to the front right passenger side bumper. No injuries. Both
parties will exchange information and deal with matter on their own.

2/5/2010 F/O 563 Main St Complainant stated driver #2 while parking hit her vehicle. Both parties
refused NYPD report and will handle matter on their own.
2/8/2010 Opp 455 Main St Reporter stated hit pole with vehicle causing scratches to rear left bumper.
Vehicle taken to have scratches buffed out.
2/17/2010 F/O 694 Main St Vehicle #2 was parked in parking spot when vehicle #1 hit the rear of
vehicle #2. No injuries reported and NYPD on scene to file a report.

2/1/2010 546 Main St Reporter stated dog left unattended barking excessively. 311 notified and
took a service request. Matter was referred to Dept of Environmental

TRESPASS
2/19/2010 400 Main St ARREST Male subject observed by PSD Crime Unit jump the turnstiles at
location. Subject transported to PSD, summonsed and released.

2/26/2010 536 Main St NYPD ARREST R/O on scene to assist NYPD in arrest and summons of
two subjects remaining unlawfully at location and in possession of
marijuana.

HARASSMENT
2/9/2010 560 Main St Reporter stated subject yelling obscenities and standing at her door.
Upon arrival subject was not on scene. Search of area for subject yielded
negative results.
2/11/2010 551 Main St Victim stated ongoing issue with a neighbor hitting their dog, harassing
her daughter in the laundry room. R/O spoke to neighbor and corrected
the condition.
2/15/2010 580 Main St Victim stated group of youths are knocking on her door and running away.
R/O will conduct period checks of hallway.
2/15/2010 504 Main St Victim reported he was harassed by several male youths who repeatedly
threw snowballs at him and threatened him. Victim refused EMS and
NYPD. No Injuries.
2/16/2010 R/O 556 Main St Victim stated four males and one female began shouting profanities at
him. Search of area yielded negative results.
2/16/2010 F/O 580 Main St Victim stated subject used vulgar language towards her and threatened
her and her friends. Victim made written statement.
2/23/2010 F/O 510 Main St ARREST R/O observed an altercation between a passenger and cab driver.
R/O witnessed passenger striking the cab driver through the driver's side
window while the cab driver was still seated. Victim refused medical
attention. NYPD on scene to take report from victim. Subject was
released from PSD upon issuance of harassment summons.

2/23/2010 560 Main St


Victim stated two females and one male youth came to her door to retrieve
their fathers bicycle. Victim stated one female youth began yelling and
threatening her. Victim identified subjects and subjects were brought into
PSD. Subjects parent brought into PSD and spoke with victim. Victim
wanted to press charges. 911 notified. NYPD on scene for report and
victim referred to criminal court for order of protection.
2/24/2010 526 Main St Victim stated a group of males were harassing her at location. R/O spoke
with parties involved. Situation is ongoing between parties. Both parties
agreed to leave each other alone.
2/24/2010 579 Main St Victim reported three male youths started throwing ice balls at her and
yelling obscenities at her. Victim felt very threatened and came into PSD.
Search of area for subjects yielded negative results.

2/25/2010 531 Main St Victim entered PSD to report 6-7 male youths surrounded him on the bus
threatening him and upon exiting one male youth struck him on his left
shoulder. This is not the first incident and victim feels the youths are
becoming increasingly threatening. All tours advised.

2/26/2010 540 Main St Victim stated unknown person threw ice at her door and fled the scene.
Search of area yielded negative results for subject. Victim states she is
constantly being harassed. No visible damage to door.
2/27/2010 250 Main St ARREST R/O observed subject strike victim with his fist. Subject taken
into custody and issued summons.
2/27/2010 F/O 540 Main St Victim stated subject has been threatening him. NYPD on scene to take
report. Victim has no injuries.
2/27/2010 540 Main St Victim stated subject threatened to harm her. Subject aggressively
bumped into victims chest. NYPD on scene to take report. No injuries.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT
2/13/2010 400 Main St R/O responded to location for disorderly male. NYPD transit officer on
scene and corrected condition. Male was escorted to train.
2/27/2010 540 Main St While conducting investigation of youths throwing snowballs group of
youths were stopped. One youth became very aggressive and made
threats against officers and became physically aggressive. Youth was
taken into custody and was released to his parent. No injuries.

2/27/2010 R/O 540 Main St ARREST R/O observed three subjects at location remaining unlawfully.
Subject #1 had an open container and under age. Subject would not
comply with lawful order for identification and used physical force toward
R/O. Subjects 2 and 3 would also not comply and became disorderly. All
three subjects taken into custody and brought to Central Booking for
processing.

DOMESTIC DISPUTE
2/11/2010 560 Main St Mother requested her son be escorted from the apartment due to a
dispute. Upon arrival subject was escorted from apartment. No police
report requested.
2/12/2010 560 Main St Dispute between mother and daughter. Mother wanted daughter removed
from the home. PSD on scene, mediated situation and all in order.
Daughter will remain in the home.
2/14/2010 4 River Rd. Victim stated father of her children arrived at location banging and kicking
on the door causing damage to door. Victim contacted 911 but NYPD did
not arrive on scene. Victim wanted to file for an order of protection and
R/O gave victim instructions relative to same.

2/15/2010 556 Main St Family member of couple advised of a dispute. R/O responded to location.
Male had left the scene and female was uncooperative to give any
information. Search for male yielded negative results.
2/16/2010 555 Main St Victim stated her husband dropped off the children from their vacation
with their father and would not leave. Officers arrived on scene to find
husband laying in the doorway. NYPD on scene to take report.
2/18/2010 560 Main St Victim stated a male occupant was damaging her property and at location
without permission. Victim was not harmed and subject was escorted out
of the location. Male was escorted back to apartment at a later time to
retrieve his personal property.
2/23/2010 4 River Rd Victim stated subject (boyfriend) threw her to the ground, dragged her
along the floor and kicked her in the stomach when she tried to get up.
Boyfriend fled before PSD arrived. EMS transported victim to Mt. Sinai.
NYPD on scene to take a report.

OTHER VIOLATIONS
2/5/2010 200 Main St ARREST Four subjects observed at location with open container.
Summonses were issued and subjects were released.
2/6/2010 F/O 543 Main St ARREST R/O observed subject spitting on the ground acting nervous.
R/O asked for identification at which time subject said he had none. R/O
advised subject is being placed under arrest at which time subject
produced identification. Subject was known to be involved in a previous
grand larceny case, was brought to 114 pct for investigation. NYPD
deemed previous report filed incorrectly and not enough evidence for an
arrest. Subject was issued summons for spitting in public and released.

2/6/2010 F/O 645 Main St Vehicle disregarded stop sign. Upon vehicle stop driver did not have
license on her person. License was faxed and verified. Driver was warned
and admonished.
2/8/2010 R/O 200 Main St ARREST Subject observed parked at location. Upon driving by R/O
smelled what appeared to be marijuana. Upon car stop smell was
confirmed to be marijuana. Vehicle and subject taken to PSD where
subject was issued summons and released. Friend of subject later picked
up the vehicle.
2/13/2010 F/O 250 Main St ARREST R/O observed subject make an illegal u-turn against traffic and
enter do not enter signs. Motorist had an expired insurance card. Motorist
was issued a summons for reckless driving and released.

2/17/2010 580 Main St ARREST R/O smelled an odor emitting from stairwell at location. Upon
entering observed two subjects sitting at location. Subjects placed into
custody for trespassing and upon search of subjects found a marijuana
cigarette on subject #1. Summonses were issued and subjects were
released.
2/22/2010 F/O 900 Main St ARREST R/O observed vehicle with no headlights on. Upon car stop R/O
smelled odor of marijuana. Motorist was nervous with slurred speech.
Motorist admitted to smoking marijuana. Motorist transported to PSD
issued summonses and released. Keys to vehicle left with Sgt until owner
of vehicle arrived to claim vehicle.

PETIT LARCENY
2/7/2010 455 Main St Reporter stated delivery bike was taken from location. Search of area for
bicycle or subject yielded negative results.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
2/7/2010 540 Main St R/O observed doorbell at location burnt. Building management notified.
Search of area for subjects yielded negative results.
2/12/2010 680 Main St Victim stated upon return to his car at location driver and passenger
mirrors were broken and vehicle was scratched with unknown metal
object. NYPD on scene for report. Pictures on file.
2/14/2010 Opp 625 Main St Youths were igniting smoke bombs at location. No injuries and parents
were notified.
2/14/2010 595 Main St Reporter advised of damaged wall by a group of unknown youths. Canvas
for subjects yielded negative results. Condition will be corrected by
building maintenance.
2/15/2010 546 Main St Witness reported three unknown males damaged the wall in the hallway
across from her apartment. Search of area yielded negative results.
Building maintenance notified to correct condition.

2/17/2010 546 Main St Reporter advised of hole in the wall at location. Super on scene and said
wall has been damaged several times in the past. Condition will be
corrected.
2/18/2010 510 Main St Victim was hit with eggs at location. Check of area for subjects yielded
negative results. NYPD refused. No injuries.
2/18/2010 645 Main St Reporter stated window to his vehicle was broken. Right door window
was cracked and deep scratches were visible along left side quarter panel.
Photos taken and NYPD refused.
2/19/2010 546 Main St Reporter stated five youths responsible for a hole in the wall at location.
Pictures taken and on file. Building management notified to correct the
condition. Search of area for youths yielded negative results.

2/24/2010 546 Main St R/O responded to location for elevator call button panel. Upon
investigation someone had painted blue paint on the panel. Search of area
yielded negative results. Photos taken. Building management notified to
correct condition.
2/25/2010 540 Main St Report of unknown person kicked door in the past. Victim stated her
pictures on the wall shook. Door was bent in from the kick on the bottom
of the door. Building management notified.
2/28/2010 560 Main St Reporter stated unknown person broke a bottle on her front door. Upon
opening door she saw hooded individual running away. Victim advised to
call PSD or NYPD and not to open the door in the future. Search for
subject yielded negative results. No injuries or property damage.

2/14/2010 F/O 625 Main St R/O observed male with swollen left eye. Male refused to give information
and refused medical attention. Male stated he was assaulted and
appeared to be intoxicated.

2/7/2010 400 Main St Victim advised being robbed on the train approaching Roosevelt Island.
His wallet and iPhone were taken while he was sleeping. Victim referred
to NYPD located at the train station.
