Parking is limited at Lake Frank.
We strongly encourage carpooling.
Please park at PicnicArea 2 at Lake Needwood. Some overflow parking will be available at Picnic Area 3. School buses will shuttle you to Lake Frank, which is less than a mile away. At the end of the walk or after you have a picnic, the bus will shuttle you back to your car.PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY (by 8:30 AM) SO THAT YOU ARE NOT LATE FOR THE 10 A.M.RALLY! ALLOW PLENTY OF TIME TO TAKE THE SHUTTLE BUS!

At end of entrance road, turn left and an immediate right into Picnic Area 2 parking lot.From Silver Spring
Take Georgia Avenue/MD 97 NorthTurn Left onto MD-28/Norbeck Rd.Turn Right onto Muncaster Mill Rd/MD 115Turn Left onto Avery RoadTurn Right at Lake Needwood.
