The Site Topic Title will take up a certain number of the characters in the page title. It includes the words in the STT box but also a space, a hyphen, and a space beforethe STT. A page title in total will be 65 characters including spaces, but if the STT is“_-_Small Business Marketing” (27 characters) then you only have 38 characters leftto write your page title. If the STT was “_-_Financial Services Canberra” (30), thenyou would only have 35 characters to write the page title and so on. Therefore, for every different client website you work on, you need to find out theSTT
before
you start writing the individual page titles. In the Website Setting page, please also click the ‘Search/Indexing’ black menu tab.Scroll down to the bottom of the page to ‘Search Engine Parameters’ – make sure allfour boxes are ticked, and please fill in the ‘(optional) Description’ box – this is thedescription of the entire website. Use 155 characters or as close to it as you can,use the main keyword at the start of the sentence, use two or three keywords intotal in this description and, if you can, use the company name as well in this.
