Similar to choosing the Matron or Maid of Honor, you do not want to just ask someone to be the Best Man without considering the responsibilities involved. The right person for this job is someone you can depend on to plan the bachelor party, help you to pick theguysgroomsmen gifts, and get the rest of the groomsmen to stay on schedule. Again, this person should have a lot of time to offer the groom and is not financially strapped.Always consider that picking the right person is totally an important decision and it is anhonor for that person to be asked. Some may even decline you since the responsibilitymay be too much for them to handle, but this is just a few rare cases.
