===Dear Friend, With economic crisis and growing environmental danger, this year'sconference Campaign Against Climate Change Trade Union conferencecentres on the demand for "1 million climate jobs". Despite rhetoric over"green jobs" from all the major parties, few jobs have been created thathelp to reduce carbon emissions. Yet at a time of environmental andeconomic crisis the argument has never been clearer, creating climate jobs is good for the planet and the economy. Come and hear leading Trade Unionists and environmentalists discusshow we can organise to fight climate change. What do we mean by a"climate job"? What sort of industries will we need to expand? What doesthe failure at Copenhagen mean for the planet? Speakers from the RMT, PCS, CWU, UCU, TSSA and FBU will discuss theway forward, together with campaigners who have helped to organisecampaigns and demonstrations over the climate. Hear from the Vestasworkers about their struggle to stop the closure of the wind turbine planton the Isle of Wight. The conference is being organised on a teach-in structure, so there will beplenty of opportunity for delegates to debate and discuss in the plenariesand workshops. We hope you will book up now.
