KNOW
The ’84 killings too were mercilessly planned and executed by the state, with a breathtaking disregard forgovernance and constitutional rights. After this bloodbath, the state and itspartners-in-crime preferred to forgetthe bloody drama they had enacted. Are the lives of innocent men, womenand children of so little consequence topoliticians and men in public officethat they can be brutally murdered enmasse in the country’s capital for overfour days before an effort is made tostop the killings? Does it then have totake over 22 years and 10 inquiry commissions to book the guilty for thechilling inhumanity against the Sikhs.
