HOW TO RE-POSTULATING THE PARADIGM OF

KNOWLEDGE AND KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT

This article intended to get us more insight on previous article of “TEN

Actually, re-postulating the paradigm of Knowledge is current human need and

driven with recently influence world wide phenomenon such as “webification or
convergence phenomenon of ICT, web and workflow – semantic web – web 2.0 –
black swan – long tail econ – AI – spiritual computing – user created content –
mobile technology – social media – complexity theory” etc.
Regarding the issue, some points should be considered :

 At the very basic of DIKW model, each as an entity, DI should separated
distinctively with KW into DI-KW model. The basic postulate is, DI and KW each
has different epistemological origin

 Knowledge evolved since beginning of human life as manifestation of

human emergent behavior as complex (adaptive) system. Knowledge
representing the Human Consciousness. Therefore we should treat Knowledge
as subject not as object as frequently occurred. This is the root of how we so far
experiencing “difficulties in defining KM”

 There are three staging of Knowledge maturity based on human psycho-

physiology-anatomy structure : Knowledge with Lower Consciousness (KLC),
Knowledge with Medium Consciousness (KMC) and Knowledge with Higher
Consciousness (KHC). KLC derived from human Peripheral Nerve System or
Human Senses. KMC derived from Central Nerves System or Mind Brain. KHC
derived from human Consciousness DNA

 The mission of Knowledge from beginning as KLC is to transform Physical

Realities into Data and Information in particular direction toward higher level of
KMC, KHC and beyond

 Within Human System Biology (HSB)-based KM : KM Tools symbolizes

human senses derived from KLC, KM Process Framework symbolizes common
sense derived from KMC and KM Standards symbolizes culture and value

 Wisdom and beyond is the final outcome of Human Enlightenment

process within sustainable development of Knowledge itself in human life to
achieving added-value or better quality of life through Human Learning as well
as Organizational Learning. Note, Machine Learning or IT located outside the
domain because they don’t have KHC or Consciousness DNA whatsoever.

 Beginning at the stage of Knowledge with Higher Consciousness (KHC) and

beyond, we should put balance of our mind set between deducto-hypothetico-
verificative as human scientific mind set with our gnosis as natural or particular
gift for doing something. Here we’d better transform the term “Scientific
Knowledge” becoming “Knowledgeable Science”, and
therefore Human Wisdom beginning to evolve

 Because Knowledge is Consciousness, therefore “Knowledge is not Power

but more as Empowerment”. The combination of “Right and Responsibilities”
means well mannered Empowerment behaving Knowledge as Consciousness

 The word “Knowledge” as preposition of a noun (eg Knowledge Economy,

Knowledge Society etc) in broad meaning means as HEA functioning to that
noun in Universe Continuum that making transformation process possibly

 occurred in the domain of their Physical Realities – Data – Information –
Knowledge (in narrow meaning) – to Wisdom and beyond

 Knowledge Management (KM) is not management technique but

behaving more as an access mechanisms that can be used across any
management tool type such as TQM, LO, BPR, BSC etc including SM (Social
Media) as social platform. So, here we put KM in very broad meaning with
higher level than any other management tool type. From eastern concept,
Knowledge with broad meaning also known as Noor or “Light”
