Tis is the perect itinerary or those wishingto experience these three remarkable countries in a highly personal way. We begin our adventure in ascinating Namibia with its stunning red desert terrain and unique wildlie. In Botswana we experience the ood plains o the Okavango Delta. And in Zambia weare surrounded by the magnifcent wilderness o South Luangwa National Park.  WINDHOEK / DESERT RHINO CAMP,DAMARALAND

. Located in a million-acre reserve, thecamp boasts an outstanding wilderness experi-ence in comortable accommodations. Tereserve’s harsh countryside is punctuated witha number o resh water springs that supporthealthy populations o desert-adapted black rhino and elephant as well as large populationso the rare Hartmann’s mountain zebra, oryx,and kudu. Predators are also numerous, withthe largest populations o lion, cheetah, leopard,and brown and spotted hyena ound outsideEtosha National Park. Arguably the most remote camp in allo southern Arica, it overlooks the KuneneRiver—the only permanent water source in theregion, creating a lush oasis along its banks sur-rounded by rugged mountains and sand dunes.Tis region is also home to the Himba tribe,one o the last nomadic people in all o Arica.Our encounters with the Himba are amongthe most memorable experiences o our daysin Namibia. Himba amilies live in proximity to

Our next destination is the ideal location orour activities in Etosha National Park.
OngavaTented Camp
is situated along the southernboundary o Etosha in a privately owned reserve.Etosha, “the place o dry water,” oers one o thegreat wildlie experiences remaining in Arica.Covering over 8,000 square miles, the park encompasses a vast salt pan 80 miles long andis Namibias premier game-viewing destination.Ongava is one o the ew private game reservesin southern Arica where we may see whiteand black rhino, and the area holds goodpopulations o lion, eland, mountain zebra,black-aced impala, a number o other antelopespecies, and a host o birdlie. In addition toour daytime activities, we enjoy game walksand nighttime game drives.

ONGAVA / VUMBURA, BOTSWANA
 Ater breakast we depart Ongava by charteright to
Vumbura Plains Camp
via Grootonteinand Maun.
Vumbura
lies in the extreme northo the Okavango Delta.Te Okavango Delta’s waters allow us to explorethe camp’s ood plains via
mekoros 
(dug-outcanoes) guided by polers rom the BaYei tribe, who have been using them as their traditionalorm o transport or hundreds o years. Waterlevels permitting, boats take us into the largerand deeper areas o water while 4x4 vehiclesallow us to get in proximity to animals in thesavanna areas. Tis is possibly the only area inthe Okavango where one can see red lechwe roma mokoro in the morning and a sable anteloperom a vehicle in the aternoon. Other wildliesightings may include lion, leopard, elephant,bualo, and various species o antelope.
