This is version 3.1 of "Parental Controls & Online Child Protection: A Survey of Tools and Methods." This booklet is published by the Progress & Freedom Foundation, a Washington, DC-based think tank that covers technology policy and Digital Economy-related issues. I publish frequent updates to this report [available online at www.pff.org/parentalcontrols ] to ensure that I have painted the most thorough, up-to-date picture of the amazingly diverse universe of parental control tools and methods.
