GRID COMPUTING-THE HASTYCOMPUTING TO ACCESSINTERNET
Today we are in the Internetworld and everyone prefers to enjoy fastaccess to the Internet. But due tomultiple downloading, there is a chancethat the system hangs up or slows downthe performance that leads to therestarting of the entire process from thebeginning. This is one of the seriousproblems that need the attention of theresearchers. So we have taken this problemfor our research and in this paper we areproviding a layout for implementing ourproposed Grid Model that can access theInternet very fast. By using our Grid wecan easily download any number of filesvery fast depending on the number of systems employed in the Grid. We haveused the concept of Grid Computing forthis purpose. The Grid formulated by us usesthe standard Globus Architecture, whichis the only Grid Architecture currentlyused world wide for developing theGrid. And we have proposed analgorithm for laying our Grid Model thatwe consider as a blueprint for furtherimplementation. When practicallyimplemented, our Grid provides the userto experience the streak of lighteningover the Internet while downloadingmultiple files.

What's Grid computing? GridComputing is a technique in which theidle systems in the Network and their “wasted “ CPU cycles can be efficientlyused by uniting pools of servers, storagesystems and networks into a single largevirtual system for resource sharingdynamically at runtime. These systemscan be distributed across the globe;they're heterogeneous (some PCs, someservers, maybe mainframes andsupercomputers); somewhat autonomous
