Denver Botanic Gardens has a long tradition in Botanical Art and Illustration. The discipline was irst taught in theearly 1980’s and the certiicate program was established in 1990. Today, the program oers a comprehensiveeducation in the scientiic illustration o plants and ungi and the proessional instructors continue the strongtradition. Nearly 100 courses are oered each year to students at all levels o art experience. The curriculumcan lead to a Certiicate in Botanical Art and Illustration, a recognition that is obtainable at only a ewlocations worldwide.
