I’m Lenny Barshack and I have been attend-ing the DISC since1982. The rst year Iraced I had been on skis a total o 4 days,so yes, any level skier is welcome. In 1995,ater spending 15 years on Wall Street, I be-came an internet entrepreneur, co-oundinga handul o startups. In 2007, I gave a newmeaning to “I survived the Directors’ Cup.” Ilive in Sun Valley with my wie, Erin Smith.
I’ve had many special moments at the DISCover the last 20 years: my rst ski race,getting engaged at the nal night dinner inSun Valley, and eloping at lunch in Aspen 15years ago!
Returning or her second year in the Direc- tors’ Cup, Kirsten is looking to at least know what she is getting into this time around! A- ter growing up in Maine, Kirsten was luckyenough to attend university with Dan Bo-land, Tom Huang and Sang Lee. She cur-rently splits her time between San Franciscoand New York City.Day to day, Kirsten is a managing di-rector at AirFinance Capital, the leasing andinvestment rm that provides assed backedleases and loans to manuacturers and com-mercial operators o business jest globally.Prior to AirFinance, Kirsten was co-ounder,board member and CFO o the business jet feet operators XOJET beore it was sold toTPG in 2007. Beore XOJET Kirsten hadspent the majority o her career in privateequity, credit investing and nance at AlpineInvestors, JP Morgan Partners, and GoldmanSachs & Co.
