Implementation of Punjab Govt Notification of

It is reliably learnt that the Vice-Chancellor of the

Panjab University Chandigarh has today ordered the
implementation of Punjab Government Notification
No.3/39/09-3FPPC/201 dated 22-02-2010 [relating to
the amendment of Clause 4.2 of Notification No.
3/23/09-3FPPC/885 of 17-8-2009 on the
subject:Implementation of the recommendations of the
Fifth Punjab Pay Commission -- Revision of Pension of
pre 01-01-2006 pensioners/family pensioners/
recipients of extra ordinary pension etc ] in terms
of which the minimum pension is to be based on the
initial pay in the Post- 2006 corresponding pay scale
plus Grade Pay/Academic Grade Pay, and not the
minimum of the Band plus Grade Pay/Academic Grade
Pay.
