is the assistant branch manager and the youth librarian at theChicago Public Library¶s Garfield Ridge Branch. Portia has been aptly dubbedthe ³Programming Queen´, by her peers and is always on the look out for newways to expand library services to unreached groups. She enjoys planning lowtech, low budget library events for adults, such as the recent hit "Girls' NightOut at the Library".
