Batang Iwas Droga(BIDA)
BIDA was earlier assailed bywatchdog Kontra Daya for beingineligible for partylistaccreditation because it is agovernment funded and initiatedentity. In its website, BIDA saysit is the brainchild of PAGCORchair Efraim Genuino.
Batang Iwas Droga has Sheryl Genuino-See, daughter of PAGCOR chairman Efraim Genuino, as its firstnominee. Sheryl See was also a previous nominee of Bigkis Pinoy, a partylist also affiliated with PAGCOR’sGenuino.
The second nominee of BIDA, businessman JohhnyTan, was also a previous nominees of the partylistgroup Bigkis Pinoy.It is not clear when See and Tan resigned fromBigkis Pinoy to become nominees of BIDA.BIDA’s fifth nominee appears to be SpecialProsecutor Dennis Villa-Ignacio, who is presently anominee for the Chief Justice’s position.

Salo was undersecretary under the Officeof the Executive Secretary of Eduardo Ermita in2009 Salo was with the Presidential LegislativeLiaison Office before moving to the OES.

PACYAWis advocating sportsdevelopment among theyouth.The partylist group Pilipino Association forCountry / Urban Poor Youth Advancement andWelfare (PACYAW) has as its first nomineeDepartment of Tourism Asst. Secretary Janet RitaB. Lazatin. She is a member of the Lakas-CMDparty and hails from the first district of Pampanga.Its second nominee is businessman and former LosAngeles Consul Reynaldo Pineda, who is alsobased in Pampanga.
